Possibly, you can glue the broken bakelite back together with JB weld or I've found "super glue" works great on bakelite. Clean up the lip some (emery cloth)....it looks like there is some material left, preventing the base from coming out. Might try some WD-40 around the junction of bakelite and copper. Icon_thumbup
