Starting a 46-480 restoration, general questions!
#2

Hi Lawrence and Welcome!
#1 Depends if your 6H6 is a metal tube (most are) pin 1 is connected to the metal cover over the tube. Pin 1 is usually connected to the chassis thus making it shielded.
#2 Electrolytic is fine. I suspect that the original is an electrolytic in a paper tube. If it's C-43 off the plate of the 6H6 it is. Mind the polarity and you will be fine.
#3 Suspect that cap is hooked the plate pin of the audio output tube. Some set will have a 1000v cap there. what there thinking is that the voltage developed there which is B+ + the AC audio voltage will be higher than 600v. I doubt it. Should be fine with a 630v job. If it worries you tie the bottom end to the screen.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!
