The filter condenser #50 connected as follows the + side of each the connect to each of the terminal on the bottom. The two - wires connected the shell of the condenser. These are NOT grounded [Image: https://philcoradio.com/phorum/images/sm...n_evil.gif] as the original set up there is a cardboard sleeve that fits over the end of the shell and a metal tab that slips between the shell and the cardboard insulator. This tab connects back to the hv center tap.
Looks like there is a connection missing on the schematic. Should be a dot at the intersection of the bottom of 28 and the HV rail (line that goes over to the field coil and the screen grid of the 42). Without it there is no HV on the 2nd half of 50 and 28 (plate voltage for the 75).
