I think I found a clue to the no reception @ the low end of bands 4 and 5. https://www.philcorepairbench.com/model-...r-failure/

workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
