First of all, I want to thank all of you who posted with such kind comments. I really appreciate it.
Now, let me bring you up to date with some photos I took just prior to my last chemo session.
I opened up the 16 uF wet electrolytic can, cleaned it out, and installed two Solen 8.2 uF caps in parallel which will equal 16.4 uF:
Next, I stuffed everything into the can:
Finally, I glued the top back onto the can with J-B Weld.
Now this restuffed electrolytic is ready for reinstallation into the chassis.
