38-116 Restoration
#3

RF sub chassis complete.  Tubular capacitors stuffed, coils checked, and most resistors replaced.  I didn't want to have to get into this unit again to chase down a noisy resistor so I just changed them.  All coils checked out fine.  I don't know if the 38-116 has the same common issue with the oscillator coil for band 2  but it appeared to be fine and measured good.  According to the part numbers, it is a different coil and it looks different so I think I'm good.
