Hello Fellow Radio Heads. I have ventured from the world of Philcos to try and expand my knowledge of all radios in general. I have a Sonora RBU-175 that I have re-capped all but the bigger filter caps. The radio appears to be aligned just fine as any station above 950 comes in good and loud and appears to be dead on accurate. My issue is as soon as I go below 950, I seem to loose any type of reception. I get absolutely no type of sound......nothing. Is there a definitive line between upper and lower bands that I may be able to Isolate maybe a loose connection, Bad resistor or at this point.....ANYTHING, LOL.
