Philco 39-36 code 121
#1

I have a Philco 39-36 I used to listen to with my kids.  After sitting in storage for many years, I wanted to revive it.  I don't think my wafter switch is working right, but don't know how it should work and how it should look.  I took it to someone for some help, but they cut some of my wires and may have removed some parts.
My schematic diagram looks like there are just 2 outside wafers that the wires are attached to and partial rings on the inside and outside of those wafers.  Is there more to the wafer switch, like others that click against another part.  I can tell that the dial moves the bar but it does not making any noise, no clicking.  Should it be making a clicking sound as it moves?  How does that work?  Does anyone have experience with a working switch for that model that could tell me?
