I would like to fire it up. Should I?

Not just no, but H**l, no!!! To do so is just inviting disaster. Read these pages for more details:

In short (no pun intended), if you try to "fire it up" now, you might really fire it up!

the inside looks fine it just got smashed in the last shop move, can this be repaired or do I need to replace it??

Don't know exactly what you mean here. Photos would be very helpful.

Oh, and those aren't bulbs, they are tubes.
