Electrolytic Cap in 42-360

I looked at the production changes sheet for 1942 Philco models, and I did not see any changes in the electrolytics for the 42-360. So I would go with the original. Well, actually, I would replace both with 10 uF, 450 volt capacitors since 10 uF is easier to find than 8 uF.

The dual electrolytic in your set was probably replaced decades ago, and the service tech probably used what he had in stock, which was a dual 8 and 16 uF cap.
