I had an odd model 91 many yrs ago. i don't remember the chassis code but it was from a chairside set. The way to tell is that the dial is printed upside down.
Looks like there's only a few differences to sort. One band or two, p# of power transformer (this will determent if it uses 1 or 2 spkrs), and tone control circuit. The early model 16 were setup the same way. First version had just a treble cut and then a little later there was treble cut and base boost. This is the same on the two versions on the 91's.
Oh another thing to bear in mind is that the 91 is the model 90 2.0 (better version of the 90) using the brand new 6.3v indirectly heated tubes. Don't get too bound up in the minutia gotta look at the big picture.
