I have little technical experience as well. Like you, I have a modest ranch house outside of Detroit. I count on the "gurus" here when I need sound advice so as not to electrocute myself! Everyone here, whether close friends or just casual pen pals, adhere to the "treat people as you wish to be treated" philosophy. As Paul said, "this Phorum works well for us".
