The power transformer has a built in switch to change the input voltage. In the 1950s WA had a line voltage of 260 volts AC at 50 HZ, Victoria 230 volts AC at 50 HZ. The set may have been made in the UK or Canada. The dial is not something from the USA with the stations listed by territories. The cabinet being local will be hard to match with pictures in the gallery. Hope you have the tubes or a list. If possible a picture of the speaker back.
