Hi Everyone,
I am preparing a talk to our local vintage radio group on car radios. I recall reading somewhere that Chrysler offered an all transistor car radio some time before 1955. As transistor technology was still relatively new then this set was a real break through but the price was about half the price of the car itself _ so very few were sold. Can anyone confirm this story _ and hopefully supply any other details?
I have not been able to find any reference to such a set in Donald Matteson's book but if any body out there can clear this up I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks
