Just got a 49-1613 need to know...everything!
#1

Being a retired piano tuner and restorer I know some items have a value and other do not. I also know regardless there is likely someone out there trying to keep one of these going or looking for parts. My case is in excellent condition, but only the radio plays kind of??? It seems to all be there including the turntable. I was told it doesn't work, but I don't even know how to check it out. My first thought was to use the case with a more modern Stereo system from the 70s, but the openings are only 14.5 inches wide. The only receivers that would fit would be small bookshelf units. Philco (???) even makes one. At least their name is on the front panel, but I don't think it or any I've seen have the power to run those vintage floor speakers.  What to do with it. Restore, sell parts or unit because they are in demand, or if not upgrade it to a modern stereo, any ideas?
