The recap is done and things are back together. I did find one small problem, one of the contacts on the selector switch was just a little loose, and allowed it to turn slightly shorting out and killing the "spare" L channel. The wiring they used is very heavy gauge and stiff. It makes things a little harder to work with. So, a zip tie held it in place and solved that problem.

I will say that those new caps really woke it up! The highs are much crisper now as well as the bass deeper. I could tell an immediate difference when I plugged my headphones into the jack. A day/night difference. Of course, I cleaned the controls and switches. It took about 2 1/2 hours or so do do this, so not bad on the time. I didn't use any fancy high dollar caps either. You can get those if you want, but these sound very good to my ears. I used to have to crank the treble and set the bass fairly high, but now, I just slightly bump the treble and bass is about center to just a shade past. You can easily overdrive both now.

Now with that done and working properly, I can go on to speakers and some more amp testing.

Oh, she's quiet too. No hum, static or any other noises. What surprises me is that this amp doesn't posses any transistor 'hiss'. It's totally quiet, about like a tube unit. Maybe even better. Yeah, probably should replace that can and the bulb in the power switch, but it's working and I'm not messing with it.
