So, I unwound the coil; it is 700 turns of AWG40 wire. I modeled it on a couple of different calculators and I got about 9 to 10 mH value.
I am sure I have the wire, but then I looked at the inductors I recently purchased, and there were 6 and 10mH axial inductances which, I think, should do, as it is a filter.
Will look for it tonight.
It is my sincere hope that this is it with the hidden problems.
