If you find that there is a problem with the mica caps in the IF cans, if you have some way of measuring the capacitance of the caps that would be the best way, second choice would be to temporarily connect trimmers across the coils, peak them, and then measure the capacitance. I noticed that in the service info on Nostalgia Air that it shows the combination AM and FM style IF cans, but yours has separate ones, so three for AM, three for FM, and then the discriminator transformer, maybe it's a later production run?
