Bob and Gary;
I have the further complication on the Phillips that they decided to use some 200 volt rated paper caps, so I don't think the yellow 630 volt ones I have will fit inside the original cardboard tubes anyhow. Unfortunately bad paper caps are not the only problem, some of the resistors are those types with the rough finish, so some "re-resistoring" may be in order as well, the sand resistor will definitely have to go, it reads 160 ohm when it's supposed to be 150, and it's only going to get worse under use. I'm not going to work on it right now, though it is tempting, I already have too many sets taken apart ahead of it (bad habit!), and I need to find more hemostats, I swear that this set must have been designed by a watch maker!
Regards
Arran
