One thing to check is that you have all the CORRECT tubes. If you have a wrong tube in there, especially the 7B7 or the 7C8, it might result in the condition you're experiencing. Also, a bad tube might do the same thing. Check to make sure the tubes are correct and good. Keep us posted.
