.....Edit: I am really sorry to hear that John O is leaving the business once he sells out of cloth. "Due to his age"? h**l, he's not much older than I am.

I think John might have been toying with the idea of retiring from the grille cloth biz in the past. If that's the case then his supplier ceasing production may have been the deciding factor in his retirement.

I also received my small order from John today but I'm sure they'll be patterns I'll need in the future that I won't have. John and Mary sure provided us with one heck of a valuable resource for restoring our old radios! I hope someone is able to supply us with cloth again in the future but I'm not terribly optimistic about it.

Hopefully they'll show up at Kutztown again and I can pick up a few more patterns and pick his brain about the nuts and bolts of sourcing the cloth.
