Hi Everyone,
I have a Silvertone Model 101 583 2 in my shed and would like to get to work on it.But I cannot find a schematic for it and it is quite a complex radio.
I have combed through Riders from 1939 to 1944 and while I have come close I have not found my particular one .
Without going into the power transformer I am not even sure if it is a 117 volt model or a 240 volt set. I am wondering too if the suffix "2" means an export 240 volt model , though the mains plug is a parallel pinned non polarised plug , common on 117 volt sets which we , of course use a 240 - 117 stepdown transformer for.
If anyone can point me to a source for a schematic for this set I would be grateful. Thanks everyone and all the best.
