Well getting nowhere fast. Got the correct audio tube. Radio starts up - just a hum.
Those two wires are on the front of the bandswitch on the wafer closest to the chassis. As far as I can see the wires from the pushbuttons are in the correct place.
Realized the 41-221 is the same chassis which I may have for comparison.
