No shame at all in sharing! It was simply too late last night to get out of bed for another photo! 
Anyway, I walked out this morning to get some more photos. I applied some mineral spirits, and you can see that the large stain comes back to life. I’m thinking it would be best to replace this top piece of veneer. I’ve still got plenty of suitable veneer from when I restored the 46-480 last year.
