When I restored my 47-1230 years ago, the record changer on it was in very bad shape. Motor seized, cartridge damaged. Plus - I own 33 and 45 rpm records, but no 78.
I gifted the record changer to another phorum member who needed the same model and wanted to tackle the project. Shipped in a foamed box. Included the matching transformer with it.
A few years later I bought a voice of music vm-1200a as a period correct "upgrade" for the machine
It works well but isn't loud.
Should it be using the (now missing) matching transformer?
