A mylar sheet may work. I do not expect that much heat is dissipated by these coils. Total cathode current for a 6A8 is 13mA, total cathode current for a 6K7 is 6mA. Voltage drop across the transformer primaries would be negligible, given the resistance of the coils. Worst case scenario would be clear postal tape or electrical tape lining the inside of the can.
