Ron
This is a great looking radio, and just looking at it gives me pleasure.
So, my criteria is this: as long as you can afford it, it does not take food from your children, does not break your retirement account, you do not mortgage your house, do not go into indentured slavery and so on, this is money well-spent and this is what people should be doing instead of moping and drinking, or gambling, or just doing nothing because they do not know what to do with themselves.
It is not overboard. It is exactly where it should be.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
