Hello Mike,
I’ve never seen anyone mention that a tube HiFi amp can have anywhere from 0.5%-1% THD at low volume and up to 5% at high volume. Meanwhile, a solid-state amp might have 0.01% THD, going as low as 0.001%. Also, tube amps tend to produce a more pleasant sound.
