This afternoon I had some time and wanted to check the audio transformer & speaker. Using my LCR 45 meter I connected it to the primary side of the audio transformer and measured 9.74 k Ohms on the mag/phase setting. BUT, looking at the datasheet for the 42 output tube, the load resistance is 7 k. This is quite a bit off. I connected my signal generator to the primary and I can hear the signal, but is very quite. So.... it is working, but is it the best? Mike
