Interference.
There are places where the station comes clear without the interference, so this is not the radio.
See if you have a USB converter nearby, or an LED light, or...any radio will have some of that; I agree yours is a bit more intense, but given the clear places on the dial, this is from the outside.
Are any other similar radios exhibit the same behaviour when plugged / located at the same place?
