I also have that set and plan to restore it this winter. The biggest issue with mine is a small crack, less than an inch long, on one of the back corners near the bottom of the Bakelite case. I’ll repair it from the inside so no one but me will ever know—it barely even shows.
That is Good to hear Tim and ED about replaceing the selenium rectifier with a silicon diode and Tim, my power here is maybe a volt or two higher at times and I will used 200 -250 volt rated electrolytic capacitors in it or higher .
