O K I refinished the maggie cabinet. 
I do not have before pictures but there was almost no finish to the cabinet. I dont think I did a very good job, 
and this will be my last console to try to refinish. 
I used Mohawk blonde toner, it looks too yellow to me, I think I put it on too heavy, 
but you can see the wood grain up close. I could not get the toner to "flow" it has streaks in the finish I could not find a way to stop it. But it is finished and I will not try another. 
So here it is. Thanks for all the comments on this project, I will have to face the fact that I cannot refinsh cabinets.
