Yes, the horn and magnetic cone speakers are high impedance, between 1kohm and 2kohm.  A speaker AND output transformer from a 1940s - 1960s 5 tube AC DC radio will work, but the sound output with an 01a will be low.  If there is provision for C- grid bias for the audio tubes, consider buying a112A.  If you find that the 01A sounds better as an output tube than the 112, you can use the 112as a detector.
