Ampeg, Fisher and Scott used Westinghouse designed 7591 Beam Power tubes, which were supposed to be the best available, in some of their medium power amps. Unfortunately, these have rather different pinouts from 6V6 / 6L6 / 6550 / KT66, etc., and are pricey. But so are KT66s, 5881s, good 6L6GCs, etc.
