I found a discount on these awhile back and bought another one to experiment with and compare. My original intent was to hand wire and use some better quality output transformers and 6BQ5 outputs. Then I found a set of new ST35 Dynaco repros (Musical Power Supplies) and later a discounted power transformer (because the leads all exited the same side instead of being separated), so I have the makings for a really cool amp, using the chassis already laid out with all the little stuff you need. I found a modified schematic by Dave G. in AK that I may use, or may use a slightly modded original. Anyway, when I get some other projects off my bench, I'll start a new thread on this one. Probably when cold weather hits. Things fit really nice and look nice. I'll try one of the new transformers on the existing kit and see how it sounds. Stay tuned!
