The Silvertone 2014 also is a transformerless set, so I am incorporating a 1:1 600 ohm audio isolation transformer into the little project box that I'm sticking on the back.  I plan to do the same with this radio.  In this way, the device connected to the aux input jack should be electrically isolated from the radio internals.
