Hello Rob,
I agree with you—I have one here at my house that I need to check out. It’s way over-engineered just to make coffee, while my good old percolator can be dismantled and repaired in a matter of minutes! One thing I was considering about your radio is the lead placement; if something shifted, it could interfere with AM broadcasts, and the new junk made nowadays even disrupts the FM broadcast band.
