Philco 90 capacitor problems
#1

Hey everyone,
Working on my 90 project. It's a mid production one with the single 47 tube, serial number 912648 and I have hit a snag! Some hack attempted repair to this set years ago and they removed the metal can condensor pack that mounts to the rear of the chassis. It's marked 24 on the parts layout schematic and the Philco part is #03325. It's a metal can that contains 4 caps- 1-.1mfd, 1-.13mfd, and 2-.25mfd. They replaced it with a multi section electrolytic twist lock unit! The lowest value on this cap is 5-10mfd Icon_wtf !! Oh yeah and they used line cord to wire it in! Again Icon_wtf !!
Anyway, it's been removed and I've scrounged up a suitable replacement metal can and rebuilt it with the correct value caps. Here is my problem, I don't have any reference as to which value cap goes where in the set. the Riders schematic doesn't list the cap values, only the number 24 to locate the part on the layout schematic. And as far as I can see there is no drawing of the part giving wire colors or values. Does anyone have any information on which value goes where or how I can go about finding out?
Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Kevin
