I too have found FM reception to be quite well indeed on the 47-1230 sets I have had occasion to work on, Poston. Icon_smile

I was a bit curious about how Bill's set was working on FM, though, if he didn't replace the capacitor or left it out of the circuit in favor of the wire he used?
