It looks like I will have to do the green over in black. I have seen one that someone "restored" using black accenting where this one has green. I don't think original finish is left at all.
How much of this case is "photofinish"? Thanks again for the heads up on the grille cloth from Kenny Richmond. It will be interesting to see where his pricing is. But then again, if you can get the cloth I guess it's a moot point.

I would see if one of the usual outfits still has some of that cloth, you may get lucky. What grille cloth is under that improvised one? As for faux finishes I don't know if there is any on this cabinet, to my eyes it looks like someone already stripped off the original finish before they added that green paint to the trim parts and the lighter coloured bands look real. This was definately a better buy then that $450 set even if the cabinet on it was of a more interesting design.
