I really like wooden crates, but as mentioned, they are just too big to display. As a compromise I have 3 or 4 crate "sides" that are easier to display and take up much less room. Not sure that I really paid anything for these and remember someone abandoning the Philco crate so another collector and myself each took a side. Here are my Philco and Music Master crate sides:
