I had considered fixing this up and reselling it. Then, someone expressed an interest in acquiring it from me. I haven't heard any more from the fellow, so I think I'll keep it

I've already been looking around, to see what I could get rid of to make room for it so that it may stay here. (These days, it's to the point that when one console comes in, another pretty much has to go.) Don't be surprised if I put one of my Philco chairsides with separate speaker up for sale soon.

The next logical step will be to find a 7-knob Allwave 23 tuner chassis, amp/power supply, speaker and dial escutcheon...oh, and the cabinet will require refinishing. At least the lower part will. The lid is still in pretty decent shape other than some scratches on top.
