Hi everyone,

Below is a Time Magazine July 20, 1959 Advertisement.....

I was able to acquire a copy of a 1959 "Press Photo", that was used for the announcement of the Philco Safari Transistor portable battery operated TV, which was the World's First Transistor portable battery TV to be developed and produced.

And I was also able to acquire a copy of an issue of a 1959 August Radio-Electronics magazine. On the cover page, it shows the "NEW" 1959 Philco Safari Transistor portable battery operated TV and its Philco 7.5v battery, 2" picture tube, and internal pull out chassis.

And finally, I was able to find a 1959 Dec. Life Magazine advertisement of the 1959 Philco Safari Transistor portable battery operated TV.
