Getting a Philco 70 tomorrow

Well I picked it up this morning. it is mostly intact. The grill and right side of the arch is loosing the veneer. It is hard to see, but the veneer on the arch is split in the middle. I am wondering the best way to approach this- just try to re-glue what is there (my first plan) or try to replace all the veneer on the right arch if I can't get it to look right. Does anyone know what type walnut veneer it is? The lines are straight throughout it. Steve
