I like to use GoJo pumice free hand cleaner to get all the old oil and wax off first. Then, Howard's Restore-a-Finish it it needs a little color. Finally, Howard's Feed'n Wax (orange oil + beeswax).

Here's a Philco 70 lowboy from 1931 for comparison.
