Once you have all of the old paint stripped off, you will want to use tinted lacquers (Medium Walnut or Perfect Brown) if you want your radio to have an original-type finish. Grain filler, added after stripping and BEFORE application of lacquer, is an added plus to obtain that smooth, piano-type finish.
