[attachment=2991I finished doing a preliminary cleaning of the cabinet and chassis. I have some pictures I will try to post. The damage I saw on the left end of the base turned out to be due to termites! Fortunately it is confined to the lowest board glued to the base trim. It should be easy to replace.
