I thought it reminded me of something.
I guess design ideas are all around us and do get implemented simultaneously, go figure who copied whom. Icon_lol

Seems like there were several versions and all had those subtle differences in design.

I would go search on radio restore forums for whoever had those radios restored (I found several links) and write those folks asking for photos.
