Well, this site has tons of information, so find the recomendation on starting or simply look up any thread on restoring a radio - they often start alike.
there are common sense things, like
Do not plug it in.
Take teh chassis out.
Clean it,
check tubes
recap it
change out of tolerance resistors,
inspect wiring, panels, connection etc.
You will need to find the schematic - there is Rider manual on Nostalgiaair.org or you could order a high quality stuff from Chuck Schwark at Philco repair bench site.
There are also cabinet repair experts here who will help you.
