I got lucky too, like Ron, a while back.

A local house sale and the lady was selling off hubbies'
tool bench and it had a Hickok 600A, pristine, with Supl. charts,
and foreign cross ref sheets, all for $100.
Needless to say . . .

Tweaked the calib a bit and it's minty. Red tolex coverings
also in VG condition - just minor corner wear.
